Fall Projects

It’s October now and I’ve heard rumors of Fall arriving.  Here in LA it’s been around 100 degrees and we’ve had our air conditioning going until 10pm.  So I decided to force some cool weather upon us by making some mittens…they are my first crochet project of the fall and the first pair of mittens I’ve ever made!

The necessary tools fit wonderfully into my purse and travel well.

The final outcome–a little lumpy, but that’s what the first attempt always looks like.

They kind of resemble puppets too, which is pretty awesome.
