Wonderland

Christmas has come and gone and I still haven’t posted our holiday displays! It’s mainly a result of my camera lens breaking…so sad. Anyway, I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and that you enjoy this much needed update!

Aren’t the windows just gorgeous?! I didn’t get to do the installation of these windows, but I helped start it. They couldn’t have been done without all the countless hours from our interns–thank you guys!!

I absolutely love how our magical little forest came to life in the front of the store…

And this little icey landscape is such a lovely spin on Tara Donovan’s original piece!

Needless to say I was finding snow in my pockets days after these displays went up.
Thank you to everyone who helped with these displays, it couldn’t have been done with out you!
What have you all been seeing at your local Anthropologie? The holiday displays are always so magical

Stitchery

it may be obvious that I enjoy stitching on things. I particularly enjoy the contrast of stitching on wood (see here).
I recently gave it another go for some signage at Anthro in Newport…

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! Mine has been so wonderful and I’m so sad it’s ending soon

Felted

Aren’t weekends great? I’m a total weekend adventurer but this last weekend I was totally content to stay home, drink Peet’s Holiday Blend from a french press (thank you, Charlie!), clean, spend time with lovely people, and just be.
With that being said, here’s a Monday Anthro treat for you…necklace stands!

Aren’t the little pleats so pretty?

Now I need to go figure out my own jewelry storage… Maybe I should make some stands for myself. Thoughts? Genius suggestions? How do you store your jewelry?
